There's lots to write about this time, so here goes...

Out with the old, in with the new...logo, that is!

I've been spending far more time working on RC helicopters, so much so that the old Scale Replicas logo was retired. With this newsletter I'm unveiling a new, updated logo featuring an image of a helicopter. The feel of the logo is the same, but I think it's more reflective of the current focus of my activities and the web site.

My Hangar

A brand new menu section has been added called My Hangar. This new section features images of my fleet. Relevant build logs remain in the Workbench.

 

 

 

A New Addition to the Fleet

I've added an Airstar International (ASI) Mongoose to the fleet. It's by far my largest and most powerful heli. Because of its size and weight it is more stable, but it also has more momentum, which requires greater care when flying. Check out the Mongoose here.

And a Farewell to a Friend

It's actually been raining in Southern California, so I haven't been able to fly as much as I'd like, but then again, I did have more time to work on the web site and to set up the Cobra. I expect its maiden flight will take place next week, weather permitting.
